«Invisible worlds…voices and resonances»
This series is made in layers of rice paper, used in chinese painting. It is a mixed technique, painted with watercolor based in original pigments.
Alchemy conceived nature as the setting for the dream of a Higher Being and Imagination as the Spiritual Power that leads man to the possibility of intuiting the divine essence that lies within.
In my search, through art, I approach images as portals that invite me to enter uncertain and unpredictable regions.
Through the work, in the process of its creation, the pictorial means allow me to manifest multiple forms, different textures, which reflect the basics, nature, water, earth, landscape, man, vital force, that underlies all things…
In this operation, color is an essential element, wich comunicates the character, manifests the necessary tension in a constructive work, or the gesture and intention in the most abstract works; it describes light in its purest state and luminous passion at its maximum saturation.
Color expresses subtle harmony in atmospheric works or austere monochrome in some of them and the greatest expressive potential in modulated line drawings.
In this series, the human figure automatically emerges as a symbol; in dreamlike, ancestral landscapes, challenging the natural statism of a painting, invading space, coming out of itself, creating with the paper a second skin on the canvas, which brings out the buried, the hidden, making visible a timeless, surreal universe.
All these tools lead us in each of the words to the secret world of human interiority. That micro reality is the key to knowledge of external immensity, the mystery of the Totality that surrounds us.
