«Metaphors of Chaos»

Using Metaphor to name chaos is observing reality in a poetic way. The fragmentation of the individual and its multiplicity, reveal the complexity of the contemporary world not only individual but also social.

In this work I try to compose the multiple, the fragmented, the dissociation, the separation; I fraction, divide the space, use different papers creating thru this action real and visual textures and organizing a kind of “stain-collage”.

In this group I try to structure the work, using irregular geometries, the fragility of the paper that generates linear textures, building a visual language to create order within the fracture, an stabilty within the chaos.

Aspects -organic and geometric- arise from the juxtaposition of the fragments with the color and the final construction establishing an apparent visual order.

The contemporary… a time where the immediacy, the fragmentation, the unforeseeable cross the present. The tension, the chance, reveal the image of a skeptical, chaotic, fragile society that exposes itself to vagueness and uncertainty.
